Regulations of the Hotel Rivage Taormina for the acceptance of 4-legged friends.

Going on holiday with your pet is an absolutely commendable gesture, but it must be done responsibly. Hotel Rivage Taormina welcomes pets (dogs and cats), but out of respect for other guests and common hygiene rules, the owner must ensure compliance with the rules listed below:

• Pets are allowed at our hotel, subject to prior notification at the time of booking.
• The cost for a pet’s stay is €12.00 per day (guide dogs excepted). This fee is required due to the need for a more thorough cleaning of the room with appropriate cleaning and sanitizing products. If there are two pets, 50% of the daily cost will be charged for the second animal.
• In the hotel’s common areas and on the beach at our beach club, pets must be kept on a leash or in a cage.
• Pet waste in the room, in common areas, inside the beach club, or outside the hotel must always be cleaned up.
  As usual when in the city, please bring a scoop and a bag to pick up pet waste.
• Any use of bed linen and towels for pets (grooming, bedding, or other) is prohibited.
• Pets are not allowed on beds, armchairs, chairs, tables, etc. If they are used to doing so at home, they will likely do the same in the hotel. Therefore, it is advisable to use appropriate covers and sheets to protect surfaces and prevent stains from saliva, hair, or other substances.
• Pets are not allowed to be left alone in the rooms. We kindly ask you not to leave them unattended, as any whining or barking could disturb the peace of the hotel and its guests.
• For the safety and comfort of your pet, if left unattended, the room will not be cleaned. During cleaning and for its entire duration, please be present and keep your pet on a leash or in a cage. Kindly contact the reception or the floor maid to arrange the most convenient time for daily cleaning.
• Pets must be accustomed to living indoors and maintaining cleanliness. Management reserves the right to charge for any damages caused or for special sanitization of the room. Furthermore, management reserves the right to terminate the stay contract at any time and without notice if the above rules are not respected.
